Quilting Bees

Small groups come together to enjoy shared interests and fellowship.  Current bees are:

Monday Bunch: Meets the first Thursday of the month at The Senior Citizens Center on Nevius Road to work on PROJECT LINUS quilts from 1:30 – 3:00.  Call Lola Terranova at 665-0208 for more information and directions.

Old Sew and Sews: Meet the first Tuesday of the month at Joyce Reed’s home to work on charity quilts from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (or how long you can stay).  Call Joyce at 634-0256 for more information and directions

Swedish Embroidery Bee:  Meets at Lamoyn Keenlyne’s home.  Call her at 623-4558 for more information and directions.

Baltimore Album Stitching Bee: Meets the first Saturday of the month at Susan’s Heirloom & Sewing Center, 6851 Old Pascagoula Rd., Theodore, AL 36582 from 9:30 a.m. – until.  We study the history of Album Quilts and recreate our own versions of these pieces of quilting history.   Call Susan Garrett at 645-8304 or 599-4179 for more information and directions.
